LISTENING AND SPEAKING: iBT FOUNDATIONS
The primary focus of this class is firstly to provide students with the language skills they need to extract and process aural information. The second goal is to improve their command of spoken English sufficiently to allow them to benefit from the advanced test taking strategies taught at the upper levels. At this level, students actively expand their vocabulary, develop a command of idiomatic English, and work on accent reduction. |

READING AND WRITING: iBT FOUNDATIONS
Students at the foundation level learn how to read for information and specifically how
the TOEFL iBT test passages routinely structures that information. Using the
organizational patterns in reading passages, students learn to structure their writing as
they move in skill level from word to sentence. |
